We have devised matrix evaluation techniques which help in the selection of suitable sites for a particular facility or routes for new roads. These identify and quantify the major site selection factors and enable sites to be compared, ranked and the preferred site identified.
These techniques have been used in work for the Ministry of Education (including a multi-school complex in Waitakere City and three new schools on the Auckland Isthmus) and Housing New Zealand (reviewing interchange options at Otahuhu).
